For Halloween this year Oliver decided he wanted to be a piece of candy. I think maybe he was a bit confused about the holiday, but we went with it anyway! What kind of candy we asked? "Blue!"
Smith Playground is a huge playspace in Fairmount Park. It's one of the oldest in the country and has a huge wonderful outdoor part that is all new, and they are renovating the inside. We went with the Arnolds today and had tons of fun.
Oliver was driving the train into the city---Kiernan holding on for dear life.
Kiernan and Wes manning the hoses on the firetruck.
And this is the series that, yet again, shows how hard it is to get two kids to smile at one camera at the same moment. Impossible!
Here are a lot more photos from our apple picking adventure. Kiernan walking with the boys...
Kiernan was so happy to see his buddy Wes, he just had to give him a kiss!
On the tractor ride out to the orchards.
You have to pull REEEEALLLLY hard to pick an apple.
After the orchard, we went to Triumph Brewery in New Hope. It is very yummy (a decent IPA) and when you sit outside, a train pulls up every 30 minutes or so. Clearly the highlight for the boys!
Stephanie and I went to yoga on Saturday, so Mike put Kiernan on his back and walked the boys to the train. Not to be outdone, Oliver brought his own baby along.
