Too Much Fun

Kiernan had so much fun in the bath last night that he absolutely refused to get out, even when the water was all gone.

Family Photos

While we were on Long Island we actually got everyone together to brave the cold and take a few photos.
Pretty hard to get everyone looking their best, but I think we did great (or rather, Gam did)!

Loving Cousin Charlie

Both boys think Charlie is about the cutest baby ever---and they may be right! He is amazing!

A Family Walk at Caumsett

We took a fabulous day after Christmas walk at Caumsett State Park with Gam and Bop-Bop, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Sam and cousin Charlie.

Kiernan was pretty excited to show off his tag*a*long walking skills.

It was a bit chilly...so the boys decided to run around a bit to keep warm.

Oliver and Uncle Sam played a game of catch that was exhausting just to watch! It involved lots of running, diving and chasing, and Oliver is still talking about how he outran a REAL baseball player!!! It was amazing to watch...

Since Kiernan is a few months away from keeping up with the big boys, he spent some time swinging with dad.

Next off-season uncle Sam had better be prepared to have his TWO nephews (and probably a brother-in-law) begging to play catch again.

Snowman!

Today it was finally warm enough to get outside and build a snowman.

Kiernan thought our friend was pretty cool, although he had so much trouble walking in the snow, that he got sick of being outside pretty fast.

Snow Snow SNOW in Philadelphia!

As many of you know, we got a lot of snow here in Philly this past weekend. The official count was 23.2 inches, which is the second largest storm in Philadelphia history (since they started keeping track in the 1860's). We spent most of Sunday running around in the snow, watching people shovel out their cars from on street parking (LOVE having a driveway!) and putting on and taking off snow suits (holy cow, that's hard to do)!

Oliver's favorite thing to do seemed to be doing face plants.

Mike and Oliver made a snow cave on our deck---and Oliver spent a lot of time climbing in and out, in and out.

Then we found an enormous icicle. Oliver thought it was pretty cool, until it broke.

Tis the Season

We had a lot of fun decorating the tree while watching the Army/Navy game (Go Navy! Beat Army!)

This year Oliver put all of our "soft ornaments" on (note the clump at the bottom front). The rest of the ornaments had to be a good three feet up--out of the reach of Kiernan.

While all of the decorating was going on, Oliver decided he wasn't a fan of candy canes, so he shared his. Kiernan loved it, red face and all!

We Have A Tree!

We continued our Christmas tradition of walking our tree home on the wagon. It is super cold here (by Philly standards at least) so we bundled the boys and took a walk.

Mike pulled the tree and kept Oliver on his shoulders the whole way.
