Christmas Themed Photos

Yet again, it's been awhile since the last blog update. This year to get our tree we again walked up to the top of the hill with our wagon and brought it home that way. Kind of a fun tradition, and definitely helps get you in the spirit.

It didn't take Oliver long to figure out that some of the ornaments we hung were gingerbread cookies. Most were hung too high, but this is the one Oliver got to hang....

Oliver and Jack discovered a new game---Linden wasn't quite sure he wanted to join his nutjob buddies yet....smart kid!

Of late, Oliver has been really into a few things. One, his "mittens". These are a pair of Kiernan's socks that Oliver puts on his hands and walks around in. He eats in them, he plays in them, he goes to Target in them....The boy loves his mittens. He's also really into fixing things, especially the couch. He and Jack spent a lot of time fixing it the other day (the couch being quieter than the door when hammering). And his new favorite activity: falling off the couch.

Preparing Oliver for Army/Navy!

We're going to Army/Navy this weekend. Oliver is pretty excited for the game, only maybe dad needs to do a better job prepping him....or else we may be removed from our seats in the Navy section!

Kiernan

Here are a few good ones of Kiernan---he's now doing a pretty good job sitting up on his own, and he happily hangs out on his belly for long periods; he's trying to crawl but that jolly belly keeps holding him back. His FAVORITE toy these days is the giraffe----he gets really upset when he loses it!

November....

So things have been a bit crazy around here (at least that's what I'm using as my excuse), which is why the blog photos haven't been posted with any sort of frequency. Here are a few from November....

Kiernan's working on sitting up on his own--he does great until Oliver thinks it's more fun to watch him fall over. Both boys enjoy that game a lot.

Oliver's 2nd Birthday!!!

Friday was Oliver's second birthday! So hard to believe it's already been 2 years.

Michaela, Linden and Jack came over for pizza and cake---and they got to paint too. It was a great night!

When I asked Oliver what he wanted on his cake, he said, "A crab on it!" So a crab it was.
