Phillies vs. Blue Jays

Last night we went to a great Exeter event. We saw the Phillies play the Blue Jays in what turned out to be a great game. Sadly the Phils lost in the 10th inning, but we were probably asleep by then anyway (we left at the top of the 8th).

Highlights of the game include Oliver consuming 2 whole hot dogs and then asking for more.

And being really, really, really excited to see the Philly Phanatic dance on the roof of the dugout.

Best Friends

Arboretum with Dad

On Sunday after we dropped my mom off at the airport, we took a trip to the arboretum to see the trains with dad. It was a lot of fun!

And here are the boys---all three looking at the camera at once (or maybe it's the fountain, but close enough)!

Red Sox vs Phillies

On Saturday we went to the Red Sox and Phillies game with my mom. The first inning the Sox scored 5 runs, but then the rain came....

So we sat around for an hour and a half. Kiernan entertained himself by eating french fries.

And when they were all gone, he moved on and began eating the box in which they came.

We only saw three innings before we had to leave for bedtime, but it was still fun. Go Sox!

Philly Zoo!

We just got a membership to the zoo and got to go today. We went with my mom (Grammy) and had a great time---both boys really enjoyed all the animals.

Manayunk Bike Race

We went to the Manayunk bike race on Sunday with the Arnolds. The race is a 156 mile team race that has cycling teams from all over the world compete. It's really fun to watch the bikes speed by, and to see the support cars too.

Oliver cheered really loudly every time the bikers went by---they were going so fast you could feel the wind they created.

And even Kiernan and Wes got excited by the action---sadly we were unable to capture them both clapping at the same time, but trust me, they were excited!

New York City!

We went to NYC this Saturday and it was a ton of fun. We took the train from Trenton and both boys did great. We met up with Uncle Steve (who is about to climb Kilimanjaro) and we spent the day in Central Park. The weather was perfect and we had a really great time. Oliver loved seeing the boats that Stewart Little sailed on---and Kiernan just enjoyed hanging out with his Godfather.

Kiernan's New Trick!

Over the past few days, Kiernan has figured out how to clap and he is SO PROUD of himself! On our train ride to NYC on Saturday, he entertained his fellow passengers by clapping and smiling at them. And yesterday at the bike race he cheered the bikers on with lots of enthusiastic claps.

Ah-Va!

We realized a few days ago that Kiernan has been saying Oliver's name! It tends to be while Oliver is napping---Kiernan stands at the bottom of the stairs yelling, "Ah-Va! Ah-Va!" trying to get Oliver to wake up!
